Our Location
KanDu Vineyard is located in Ashland, Oregon and part of the Rogue Valley AVA (Bear Creek). The Rogue Valley is home to long and warm summers days with cool nights that help grapes maintain a balance between sugar and acid.
Our vineyard was professionally designed and is currently managed by Jason Cole of Pacific Vineyards, the vines are planted in Calcareous soils on southern facing slopes 2100 feet above sea level.
Rogue Valley AVA:
The Rogue Valley AVA is located in the Siskiyou mountain range, just north of the California boarder. Rogue Valley has diverse topography and a long growing season. This creates pockets of micro climates that can grow all types of fruit.
Ashland, Oregon:
Ashland oregon is home has a great mix of cultural, natural and recreational activities. It is home to the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, many great restaurants and over and has over 5,000 acres of planted vineyards.

Jason has a B.S. in Viticulture from UC Davis, California and a M.S. in Viticulture from Montpellier, France. In 2012, Jason came to the Valley for his master thesis on Tempranillo grown in the Rogue Valley. Since then, Jason has grown to manage over 150 acres of vineyard in the Rogue and Applegate AVA.
